I have been coached by Lynda for triathlon for the past 9 months. Utilising her own experience as a GB Age group athlete, along with her supportive and encouraging style, Lynda has really helped me gain confidence, in all 3 disciplines, but especially on the bike. I especially appreciate the ‘non commercial’ approach taken by Tri & Run, both Lynda and Vicky make you feel like you matter as an athlete and an individual, taking the time to understand you and your goals whilst providing the right level of support and challenge.
Vicky has been coaching me for the last 2 years. She’s developed a structured running and core training plan allowing me to achieve my goals which was initially a marathon and more recently an ultra marathon, which I never thought I’d be able to complete. Most importantly for me I have continued to enjoy running – thanks Vicky!
I have never been an accomplished runner. More a jogger who pulls on her trainers to try and keep fit and manage my weight. A series of back and leg injuries meant I couldn’t run for a good 6-8 months. Starting again was daunting, painful and frustrating. Just when I thought I was making progress my body would push me back a few steps. Thanks to training with Vicky, I got my confidence back and I recently did a half marathon. I can hand on heart say I would not have been able to do it without Vicky. She has picked me up, kept me going, tailored things to adapt to my aches and pains, she has known when to push me and when to be kind and encourage. Her flexibility with timings around my shifting work has been great. Most of all, we have a good old natter, put the world to rights and it helps me ignore what my feet are doing!
Vicky is incredibly motivated and provides excellent help and advice.
She turned me from a lapsed-running 40+ year old into a sub-4 hour London Marathon Man!
There is not a chance that would have been possible without her bespoke training plan, helpful advice and varied programme.
Vicky is an amazing coach. I’d really lost my love for running, but in the last few months Vicky has helped me find it again. I’ve smashed my PB for a 5K and a 10K, and spent Saturday running 20+ miles of trails in the Peak District just for the fun of it. None of this would be possible without Vicky’s brilliant, personalized coaching.
