Whether you are a beginner, returning to running, a county runner or anything in between I can help you work towards your next goal. I have worked successfully with many runners as they embark on progressing from couch to 5K and on to 10K as well as road, fell and trail races, up to and including ultra-marathon. In a 1-2-1 session the objectives will be set entirely around the athlete’s needs. It may be a sociable run to help you push the distance you are running, or it may be an interval session to help you increase your speed. All sessions will start with a warm up and some drills, and conclude with a cool down and some stretches. During every 1-2-1 session I am happy to chat about any aspects of training from nutrition, to recovery, trainers to training camps and everything in between.
Sessions can be booked individually or in blocks of 10.

Focused on your goals, a progressive plan will be provided via Training Peaks. The plan can be adapted to fit your personal requirements and incorporate any group training sessions you currently attend. With regular contact via either face-to-face meetings, runs or video calls I will ensure the training plan is appropriate to both your current level of fitness and long-term goals. The plan will include running, strength and conditioning and mobility sessions.

I will carry out a complete head to toe analysis of your run form, taking into account previous injuries, current training and aims as well as data received when you run. I will provide an explanation of the consequences of any less than optimal areas of your form as well as offering suggestions on corrective measures. I will provide you with a report of my findings and suggestions for you to reference in the future.
